TIMING SERVICES
- IPICO Timing System (tag style timing system), in addition to computer timing we will also handle traditional style timing and video of finish as backup systems.
- Pre race registration coordination with race director
- Acquire registration list in excel spreadsheet format from race director.
- Scan tags for all pre registered athletes, and all projected “day of registrations”.
- Printing of labels for race bibs (mailed to race director in a timely manner).
- Pre race reports given to race director (reports include counts on male, female, age groups, t-shirts, etc.).
- Breakdown of all timing start setup equipment after race completion.
- Timing setup for both start and finish.
- Start setup: cone barriers for crowd control.
- Timing mat layout and setup w/computer readers.
- Starting corral layout setup positions designated by expected pace grouping.
- Finish setup: cone barriers for crowd control and finish lane(s).
- Split time mat(s) setup on designated areas (optional).
- Timing mat layout and setup w/computer readers.
- Finisher’s announcement mat setup (optional).
- One digital timing clock.
- Breakdown of all timing finish setup equipment after race completion.
- Post race reports will be given to race director in a timely manner.
- Reports will include overall finisher’s placements list, overall awards finishers, age group finishers.
- Provisions provided by race director are:
- 2 hotel room accommodations for one night prior to race start date.
- Full access to start, finish, and registration areas at least 2 hours prior to race start time for timing setup.
- Race bibs labeled and ready for packet pickup and tag distribution.
- Instructions (ditto provided by OC TriRunning) given to all participants at packet pickup locations on timing tag requirements.
PRICES
- IPICO Tag timing system = $2,200 base fee for 500 participants, $3.00 for each participant thereafter.
- Traditional timing = $2,000 base fee for 350 participants, $3.00 for each participant up to 500. Traditional timing has a maximum limit of 500 participants, any race venue with an expectancy of more needs to use computer tag system.
- 20% discount for all local venues inside Worcester and Wicomico counties.
- OC Tri-Running Representative(s) can assist chip distribution at packet pickup location for additional fee of $10.00/hr per reps needed.
COURSE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
- Course Design and Measurement
- For first year venues and course changes we offer course measurement and design logistics.
- Course Layout
- Course layout will consist of mile markers, directional signs and arrow boards. These items will be provided by OC Tri-Running Sports Inc.
- Course Safety
- Course safety will include placement of traffic cones where moderate to high vehicle traffic will be present.
- USATF Course Certification
- Certification will meet all USA Track and Field requirements.
- Calibrated course measurement with a USATF approved measuring device known as a Orth Counter.
- A minimum of 3 separate measurements to assure course distance accuracy.
- All applications, permits, course maps, etc. required by USATF will be submitted to the regional RRTC certifier.
- Course certification number.
- note: course certifications need to be submitted every time the course in question is used, but the measurements and calibrations only need to be once as long as there has not been any changes to the course.
